I am writing to bring to your attention an urgent matter
concerning a fake letter that has been circulating on social & news media.
This fake letter, dated February 13, 2023, uses the name and signature of
Deputy Secretary Mr. Md. Mizanur Rahman of the Department of Secondary and
Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, and it has created a lot of confusion
and concern among the public.
I strongly urge the Ministry of Education to launch an
immediate investigation into this matter and take action to identify the
culprits responsible for this fraudulent act. It is unacceptable that such
fraudulent acts are being carried out in the name of the Ministry of Education.
As a citizen of
Bangladesh, I appeal to the Ministry of Education to take necessary measures to
raise awareness among the public about the prevalence of such scams and to
caution people against taking any action based on the content of this fake
letter.
Our civic expectation-
the Ministry of Education will take swift action to investigate this matter and
to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future.
