Public Statement

Subject: On My Resignation from READO Bangladesh Date: 15 February 2026

I hereby publicly confirm that I have formally resigned from the position of Joint Secretary General of the Rural Economy and Agricultural Development Organization of Bangladesh (READO), effective 15 February 2026.

My appointment to the Executive Committee was approved under DSS/Sylhet/Memo No. 41.01.9100.000.000.28.0007.25.516 dated 10 December 2025. In accordance with institutional transparency and statutory compliance, I have submitted my signed resignation to the Executive Director of READO Bangladesh and forwarded a copy to the Deputy Director, District Social Services Office, Sylhet for official record.

"This decision was not taken lightly. However, after careful consideration, I concluded that continuing in the role would not be consistent with my personal dignity, professional integrity, and lifelong commitment to ethical governance and human rights principles."

Throughout my tenure, I acted in good faith and in compliance with the Constitution of the organization and the regulatory framework governing voluntary social welfare agencies in Bangladesh. I remain committed to transparency, accountability, and lawful institutional practice.

Effective from 15 February 2026, I cease to hold any executive authority, fiduciary responsibility, or representational status within READO Bangladesh.

I wish the organization well in its future endeavors and hope it continues to serve communities with integrity and respect for institutional ethics.

My commitment to human rights advocacy, social accountability, and development justice remains unwavering.
