Respected Sir,

I respectfully submit this representation in my capacity as a Legal Researcher & Rule of Law Analyst, intending to support public safety, strengthen the rule of law, and promote public confidence in the administration of criminal justice.

I have reviewed FIR No. 2755(5)1 dated 01 July 2026, registered at Jaintiapur Police Station. The FIR records allegations of a serious violent criminal incident involving armed assault, grievous injuries, the alleged commission of dacoity/robbery, and the involvement of both identified and unidentified accused persons.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the allegations, which remain subject to investigation and judicial determination, I respectfully submit that the seriousness of the reported incident warrants prompt, impartial, professional, and evidence-based investigation in accordance with the Constitution and the laws of Bangladesh.

In view of your supervisory responsibilities as the Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sylhet Range,                              I respectfully request your kind consideration to:

1. Exercise appropriate supervisory oversight over the investigation.
2. Ensure that the investigation proceeds expeditiously, impartially, and in accordance with applicable laws and Bangladesh Police procedures.
3. Ensure that all lawful investigative measures are undertaken, including the preservation of evidence, identification and apprehension of suspects, where justified by the evidence, and recovery of any property alleged to have been unlawfully taken.
4. Encourage appropriate measures, where necessary, for the protection of the complainant, injured persons, and witnesses.
5. Facilitate timely completion of the investigation and submission of the appropriate police report before the competent court in accordance with law.

This representation is made solely in the public interest. It is not intended to influence the outcome of the investigation or prejudice the rights of any person. Rather, it seeks to support the fair, impartial, and effective administration of criminal justice.

I remain confident that, under your distinguished leadership, Bangladesh Police in Sylhet Range will continue to uphold the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, impartiality, accountability, and service to the people.
