I wish to inform colleagues, stakeholders, and the wider public that I have formally withdrawn my resignation from the position of Joint General Secretary of the Rural Economy & Agricultural Development Organization of Bangladesh (READO Bangladesh).
Earlier, on 15 February 2026, I had submitted a resignation letter from this position. Subsequently, a Special General Meeting of the organization was convened on 28 February 2026 under the chairmanship of the Honorable Chairman of READO Bangladesh.
During the meeting, the Chairman heard the explanations and perspectives of the concerned parties regarding the misunderstanding that had arisen. After deliberation, the Chairman resolved the matter amicably and advised both parties to maintain mutual understanding and organizational harmony in the greater interest of the institution.
In accordance with the decision and guidance of the Special General Meeting held on 28 February 2026, and with due respect for the governance processes of the organization, I have formally withdrawn my resignation letter dated 15 February 2026.
I remain committed to continuing my responsibilities as Joint General Secretary of READO Bangladesh, working cooperatively with colleagues and leadership to support the organization’s mission of rural development, social welfare, and community advancement.
Institutional integrity, transparency, and constructive collaboration are essential to the effective functioning of civil society organizations. I look forward to contributing positively to these principles as we move forward together.
I sincerely thank all concerned for their understanding and support.
